Days of Hands

I’m pretty straightforward for a crazy person.

Let’s see…  I really hate writing bio pages, but I should introduce myself for the random people who might swing by.  My name is Amanda.  I’m a 28 year-old mother of two, full time career gal, and avid maker of all things handmade.

I sew clothes and crafty stuff mostly, and yes, quilting is a passion of mine.  I own about a dozen different pairs of scissors and a glorious fabric stash.  Oklahoma will always be home to me, even though I wilt when the temperature reaches 75 degrees, and at 80 I’m miserably trying to figure out how to hibernate through summer.

I just joined the Oklahoma Victory Dolls, and am totally addicted to roller derby already.  I love the speed, the flair, and the badass women who are quickly becoming my second family.  And seriously, it’s more fun than therapy or anger management, and I have an excuse to wear fishnets and hotpants.  What’s not to love?!

I have a ridiculous fondness for hot rod red, science fiction, and high heels.  You’ll figure everything else out as you read my pages!
